3. Quotations and Pricing
All quotations are provided in writing and are valid for 28 days unless stated otherwise. Quotations are based on information provided during the initial assessment. If the actual scope of work differs materially from the assessment, we will discuss this with you before proceeding and provide a revised quotation if necessary.
Prices include labour, removal and disposal as specified. Additional costs may apply if the scope of work extends beyond the agreed quotation.
4. Booking and Confirmation
To book our services, you must confirm the quotation in writing. A deposit or full payment may be requested depending on the scale of the work. Booking confirms your agreement to these terms and conditions.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

You must ensure safe access to the property on the agreed date and time. The property must be safe for our team to work in. If hazardous materials, structural issues or safety concerns are discovered, we may suspend work and discuss these with you before proceeding.

We handle your belongings with care and respect. You are responsible for identifying any items you wish to keep, donate or have appraised. We cannot guarantee that every item will be located, especially in large or complex clearances.
Important documents, valuables and sentimental items should be identified in advance. We will follow your agreed instructions regarding these items.
8. Disposal and Responsibility
We aim to minimise landfill waste by identifying items suitable for reuse, donation and recycling. Disposal methods comply with environmental regulations. We cannot be held responsible for items disposed of in accordance with your agreed instructions.
9. Liability and Insurance
Berwick Hoarding Clearance is fully insured for public liability. Our insurance covers damage caused by our negligence. We are not responsible for loss, theft or damage to items on the property unless caused by our direct negligence.
Clients are responsible for their own insurance. We recommend checking that your property and contents are adequately insured.
10. Health and Safety
Our team follows health and safety regulations. If the property is unsafe or contains hazardous materials, we may refuse to work or require specialist contractors. You will be advised of any such issues.
